Around the World at 60

I was commissioned to paint Around the World at 60 by a group of 4 guys who have had a friendship for over 40 years and every significant birthday they holidayed to some amazing countries.

One of them was turning a special age and I was asked to paint a painting representing the countries and experiences that had experienced together.

I did find starting this piece a challenge but I also did thoroughly enjoy working through to the end.
